(no subject)
Well, we did it. We've become a Mac family. I'm still having trouble figure out the shiny new toy in my dinning room- but I'm sure it won't take me long. The set up was the simplest yet, basically connect the cables and turn on. Yep, internet and all, that simple. I struggled for almost a day with my lap top.
My ankle is killing me, I have to get in to see the doctor to get those blasted screws and plate out. I'm truly not looking forward to it - truth be told the thought of surgery is not something that I'm looking forward too. Speaking of surgery, I recently went for my yearly check up and got that dreaded call back. It seems that I have several rather large fibroids' (bigger than golf balls). Dr. Ericka suggested that I get remove my uterus.... Umm, I don't think so-- not yet. Perhaps one day if the pain gets too bad - I realize my uterus is not doing anything at the moment but, after four children it's done it's duty, and I will allow it to retire peacefully.
In other news, I've put a few words down on paper. Fan fiction yet again - this time it's Twilight. I just can't get enough of it. There isn't any great writers there yet and I was tired of reading some of the garbage that was written so I decided to write my own garbage. Of course like everything else it won't see the light of day - but at least I'll get the story that I want.
