Rant about stupid people...
You know, I'm absolutely, positively sick to death of people that make poor decisions in their life and then take it out on everyone else around them when the repercussions begin. Especially after they were afforded every opportunity to make amends and chose not to do so.
Perhaps a few months in a jail cell will straighten their thinking out, but unfortunately, I think it will serve to make them only more bitter about the whole situation. See what drugs do?!?
It's a crying shame to see a bunch of kids taken away in cuffs from what could have been a perfectly normal and productive life, branded as felons forever. A long time ago, someone told me, "You play, you pay." And it's proven true more times than not.
