I left 53 bank because they are morons and here is your proof:
I got a letter today stating that my account (which i had closed and not used in 8 months prior to closing it) was overdrafted by $124. Which is clearly impossible since i closed out my account and had not used it for about 8 months before i closed it. So i called and what happened was when the dumb ass who closed my account closed it, she was supposed to take $1.00 fee out of what i had left from closing my account, but she didnt. So that over drafted my account which is a $30 fee and then it continued to charge me $6 a day untill i replaced the money...which i had no idea about. So i called and they dropped all the fees cuz it was their fucking fault. I was like im not paying because your employees are idiots. And i was like my account is CLOSED right?? and they said yes. so hopefully they take care of this situation like they said they would, i dont need bad stuff on my credit.
So folks, just another reason of the hundreds why you should NOT use 53 bank. This is just as bad as when someone was stealing from my account and they wouldnt refund me all the money because "i found out too late". bullshit. just bullshit.
