As much as I love shopping for bright, lovely, foppish articles of clothing, it certainly creates a well of emptiness in the soul. The very act of browsing through a store creates an enormous sense of desire, and while I can fulfill part of that desire by buying clothes, I can't possibly fulfill all of it as fast as it's being created. So it always makes me feel a little bit empty.
On the plus side, I have pretty new clothes.
I've been spending far too much time looking through magazines like Cosmo and seeing what their particular tips are. Not that I agree with all of it. In fact, I should write my own guide to fashion. (Rule #12: Wear your jeans a size or two too large, as this will emphasize the charming awkwardness of your insecure shuffle. Rule #29: Androgyny is in. Wear sports bras and men's collared shirts to mute the bosom.)
Also, I lovelovelove this song.
