The end is near. Too near.
There are only two weeks left in the rest of the semeseter and then we're done. This is sooo very bad. I'm finally realizing how behind I am on my work. Within the next two weeks I have close to fifty pages of writing to do. Most of it's going to have to get done this weekend. How horrible.
But my goal is to stay positive. Once these next two weeks are over I am completely done with this semester. Thank god.
After that I'll be on campus for another two weeks for commencement/reunion. I'll simply be working at my various campus jobs and getting paid. I'll be sad to see so many of my upperclassmen friends leave after this year but I least I get to balance it out by watching drunk alums stumble around campus singing about how it's their twentieth reunion. Drunk old people can be amusing.
In other news I'm still waiting to hear back from the internship I applied for. It's one of those places that takes themselves way too seriously. What I mean is that I had about 4 separate interviews (two with the same person, one with someone in the same department and another with some bigshot higher up in the company) and an exercise that I had twenty-four hours to complete. All this for a lousy marketing internship. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it'll be a great opportunity but as with the majority of internships available for undergrads I know it'll mostly be me being paid to do office work. Whatever, I still hope I get it. I really need a job for this summer cause there's only so much time I can spend with my siblings before they drive me crazy.
And of course, I will be spending the entire summer in NYC so if anyone's in the area make sure to hit me up.
also,
madnesshp:deathnote+ouran=LOVE! I would never have realized that they use the same seiyuu. He's got some mad skillz. (random note: you wouldn't happen to have any more random-slash-hot tamaki x kyouya fics just lying around would you?)
.....and we should meet up for lunch or something in chinatown over the summer! I always forget that you're a city girl too!
ps> The deadline for the
dgficexchange is getting closer and closer and for some reason I still can't think of anything good to write. Perhaps this is a sign that my career as a d/g writer should be coming to a close. I mean, this would be a good place to stop...right before book 7. Who knows? I'll figure it out. IN the meantime, I'll probably have to ask for an extension from the lovely
jandjsalmon and
rarity.
