Episode 37
This episode starts with a flashback where Diva looks sexed up, if I do say so myself.
DIVA: "What is it, Amshel?"
AMSHEL: "I have brought him to you."
DIVA: "Is that the boy?"
AMSHEL: "Indeed. I thought that you might want to grant him your blood."
Karl used to be cute
Diva approves
DIVA: "Very well, I'll dive him some."
[She stands] DIVA: "But before then..."
DIVA: "You look delicious."
KARL: "S-Solomon!"
BE VERY AFRAID.
[Diva rips his shirt open]
SOLOMON: "You've been chosen."
In the modern day, Karl is causing trouble. NO SURPRISE.
SOLOMON: "Has Diva made it safely to Christina Island?"
[Amshel doesn't answer] SOLOMON: "What's wrong?"
AMSHEL: "It would seem that Karl has taken the Corpse Corps with him."
SOLOMON: "He's going after Saya. To Karl, Saya is both his enemy and his reason for living."
AMSHEL: "Even assuming that Saya is his reason for living, it makes no difference. He won't be able to kill her. Red Shield is no longer a threat, but Saya is different."
SOLOMON: "What shall we do, then? Should we bail Karl out?"

Solomon is drivin' to save Karl, and thinking about the continuing of that conversation:

SOLOMON: "We made him a Chevalier against his will, didn't we?"
AMSHEL: "According to Grigori's theory, Diva's blood changes everything. Although there were individual differences, the mongoloid race was compatible."
SOLOMON: "That was when subjects were only found in Asia."
AMSHEL: "Karl was chosen, and the Delta Project began. The seeds were planted in Russia, flowers budded in Germany, and fruits ripened in Vietnam. For this purpose, all I wanted was Karl's body. I merely wanted an immortal Chevalier as a test subject. But he sought Diva's love--"
No, Amshel isn't possessive at all
Karl explains his existence to Saya:

[Kai interrupts, so Karl and Saya go back to fighting]
KARL: "Saya, let us depart together! We were both betrayed, even by our families. We are soulmates born unwanted."
[Karl pins Saya]
KARL: "Saya! I'm going to bite the back of your neck and drink all of your blood. You will die, as will I!"
SAYA: "I..."
KARL: "Saya, my soulmate born unwanted, let's go to a world all our own!"

[she just stands there for several seconds..............]
SAYA: "I can't die here! I can't lose in this place! I have people I must protect!"
[so she kills him
