So yeah, not much to talk about. Been playing Zelda: Windwaker. Great game...a tad easy though...actually, not easy so much as it is inventive. Like the "Oracles" games for the GBC a few years ago, Windwaker makes you think of every possible use and every possible permutation of technique to solve some puzzles. If you have the game and a GBA, I highly suggest you pay the $12 for the GBA to Gamecube Link Cable so you can use the Tingle Tuner...makes parts of the game go faster if you use Tingle's little tricks...plus he gives you hints(which can be nice given how much tooling around it gets to use a good first person view to look around.) Not too far in it yet...but the boomerang is hands down my favorite weapon...you can designate multiple targets(upto 5)...think Macross missile podding ^_^. Anyhow, if you don't have it already I recommend it. Hell, if it isn't already, it's going to be part of the "Get a Gamecube, get free game" promotion." Hell, if there was still a good way to get the Bonus Disc for free, that'd make the whole purchase(at least for me, anyway) worth it.

Um...other stuff. If you read Maddox's page at maddox.xmission.com , he updated his page today. If you don't read it, it's good for an evil laugh or two.

I'm doing my damndest to visit Lauren and Naomi in Baltimore this weekend. I'm shooting for Saturday, but I still have to work out transportation and the like. See, my stamina, mental and otherwise, are still shot from 2 of the hardest semesters of my life...plus since I really don't have the money to support a hotel for overnight since it's a big drive, so I need to travel with people. Long story. Hope it can happen.

Been reading the novel for Battle Royale. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it was made into a movie that was supposedly banned in the US(yes, it's *that violent and deranged*). It's a Japanese novel in origin, translated into English, neccesitating just over 600 pages, I'm about 150 into it. It's a good read as far as I'm concerned, it supports the movie really well. Too many characters to keep straight though...the movie prunes it down some. Anyhow, if you want to read about 8th graders brutally killing eachother as well as a good political satire, it's like $16 and was made by Viz.

That's about it for now. Oh, um, if anybody knows if/how to get a PS2 Action Replay to play import games, leave a response, 'cause I'd really like to know.

See you next time.
