Belvidere!
Ah, it's that time of year...Belvidere! One of my favorite events. Usually the weather is nice and the town square is so pretty full of big shady trees. Yesterday was no exception. Beautiful sunny day! I was supposed to go with Judy and Beth, but sadly they were unable to make it come Sunday, so I went with J (who followed me up on his motorcycle). I wore an oldie but a goodie
The lapel kept flipping up so I pinned it down, but I did it wonky. Opps.
Belvidere always has great shopping! I hit the Saturday's Child booth and got a tortishell lorgnette and a buckle
J and I checked out all the antique cars and were pleased we didn't run into Creepy Car Guy. Or J in his black leather motorcycle gear and tattoos scared him away...I don't know LOL. We saw Steve K. (The Colonel) and found out it was his last year reenacting at Belvidere because he's moving to California, which makes me sad. Always fun to see him. Ran into other local costumers and shared our shopping finds. Then J and I hit the Belvidere Hotel for some drinks and a chance to sit, relax and enjoy the weather.
