(no subject)
Not much going on. Just working on my summer Victorian dress and doing house stuff. Pruning the bushes in the yard and thoroughly cleaning the sun porch (bye bye, buggies!). Got my hair cut. Each time I get it cut I get closer to the cut I actually want. I got a different girl today and she seemed to "get" it. Finally seem to have the back short enough and not once did I have to tell her to leave the front alone like I did with the previous woman (like 5 times!!).
Have run out of fabric for the Victorian dress. I need miles of ruffles, but only have 2 yards of fabric left, and I can't get more (just not available). I'm hoping Jomar will have something that will go nicely with my dress fabric and I'll use a contrasting fabric for trim. Wish me luck!
Last night Zsa Zsa was 'Nighttime Kitty'. She went on the front porch at dusk and got excited over fireflies. Then once it got dark, she got up and sauntered down the front path and turned left down the sidewalk! I was like, "Oh!" so off I went with her. Then she laid down in the sidewalk as if it were some lounging area just for her. Not the best idea, but she couldn't be persuaded otherwise. Finally a car came by and scared her, and I picked her up and took her back to the porch. Cute little girl :)
