Went to breakfast Saturday morning with
blackcat452 in our Victorian frillies (well, not J of course. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt). Loaded up on eggs and bacon to prepare for the day...mmmmm! Then went back to our rooms to get changed into our day outfits and wait for Beth to arrive. This is the day I wore a cotton day gown inspired by
a doll's dress I saw on crawfordmanor.com Beth made a dress inspired by another doll on the same website, so it was fun to wear then together.
We met up with
blackcat452 and
isabelladangelo in the vendor's area and all walked around together for most of the day, checking out the wares and the people. So much fun! I was awarded a plastic clock that had "do not eat" handwritten in Sharpee marker on the back by these two adorable ladies that were walking around. I don't know why, but I think that was the point. Saw an antique petal-driven sewing machine that I got to sew on, I drank a crazy absinthe drink called a 'mortal stain', and I had tea and scones with delightful people. Did I mention how many times we were all stopped for photos? Wow! And of course it was such a compliment and every costumer's 'pat on the back'. A really lovely day with wonderful people!
