Itchy, watery eyes. Oh, my allergies.
We moved down to beautiful West Virginia on Monday, which was a disaster of a day. It rained all day on Shane's big furniture, I threw my back out (luckily, Steph showed up to help; Stephanie rocks my entire existence), we damaged the rental truck (which was covered under the insurance I bought, but damnit), did I mention that it rained? A multitude of other things went down on Monday, but it made for a very stressful beginning of the week. Since Monday, I've been cooped up in our house getting fat on pizza and soda, which is not my normal fare. We also overdrafted my bank account by over four hundred dollars--half of which was, of course, overdraft fees.
And I have a hellacious craving for hearts of palm and artichoke hearts.
I need money. Badly. If you want any piece of my jewelry, please make me an offer--I'll probably sell it for anything at this point. I live near the post office, too, but I can't foot the bill for shipping, so expect an S&H fee. This is your chance to own an original work before I become a name, haha.
Jewelry, go look at me! (As always, still taking custom orders--but, unlike always, will have to actually order materials, as I don't have a bead store down the street anymore. :( )
Becoming a name isn't as far-fetched as it sounds, incidentally--my former manager's dad wants to invest in my business, which means I need to come up with a business plan. (EEK!)
Gods, my eyes itch.
I go back to work on Tuesday. Thankfully, I won't be missing a paycheck, even though it'll only have 25 hours on it, and my pay has to be adjusted to the cost of living here, which means I will be making jack shit. Anne did tell her that I was next in line for shift supervisor here, so hopefully, I will get a promotion soon, as Beth told her that she was going to be starting those classes soon. Yay!
I think that's all for now. Could really use any kind of support that people can throw at me. I'm broke and I'm miserable. Really, really miserable.
