so I saw the losers a couple days ago and I haven't had that much fun in a movie theatre since iron man!! It was just excellent. The fight scenes were incredible and the action was explosive, but the script and plot were snappy and well written and the actors all did excellent jobs - I fall more and more in love with Jeffrey Dean Morgan every day!! Chris Evans and Zoe Saldana did particularly good jobs. Seriously, we were laughing out loud the entire time.
Also, a super hot spanish actor is in it, IMDB tells me his name is Oscar Jaenada - HOLY GOD is this guy attractive. They had these close ups of him licking his lips and my pulse went up a bit, not gonna lie.
in other news, last nights' GLEE was FANTASTIC - I've missed a bunch of episodes and I've been catching up on them, but the whole show yesterday was just phenomenal. The cover of Total eclipse of the heart? AWESOME. And Brit continues to be an excellent minor character, the quips she gives off are hilarious. Sue continues to be the star of the show though!!
I finally saw last weeks episode and I legit cried in it - the cover of beautiful by mercedes was incredible - seriously, they do not give that girl enough work to do. her comedic timing is AWESOME and she's much more natural on screen (and easier to watch) than Lea who I think has more and more been playing Rachel as you would play a stage character - she's just a littttle bit over the top. And I know, everyone's going to say 'she's supposed to be that way', but she's not - there's a difference between how she played rachel at the beginning of the season and how she's doing it now - it's in her cadences and her lack of subtlety, which was present at the beginning, even with all of the over the top ness. I don't know, I'm not explaining this very well but I just think she sometimes plays her in a way that is more for the stage, and less for the screen.
LASTLY, I watched the duet of 'one less bell to answer/a house is not a home' between will and april, and it blew my MIND. By FAR the best song of the series, holy SHIT. I could listen to this over and over again (and I have, lol).
