Mawwaiage... that blessed arrangement...

So, post #1 from married life: it's not too different than unmarried life, except that I'm always fiddling with my extra ring, and I'm still not used to hearing and saying the words "husband" and "wife." The professional photographs are going to be ready in two to three weeks, and they will be posted online, so I'll put up the link and password when I get them. For now, a few select images from the wedding weekend and honeymoon may be found at http://rachelg.shutterfly.com

We just got back into Boston last night. After the wedding last Sunday, we spent the night at the most amazing bed and breakfast called the Arrowhead Inn in Durham, which I highly recommend, and the next morning were off to Disneyworld, where I had never been before because my parents didn't believe in fun. We had a lovely time, but I must say, I'm more relieved than anything else that the wedding is over. It's such a nervewracking event, especially for anyone with a difficult family, and at several moments last weekend I was certain it was all going to be a disaster. But the good news is that I have some wonderful family members and amazing friends (and a ridiculously supportive husband) who helped me through the hard times.

And now I'm a married woman who has to go catch up on reading. Boo.
