Back in France
I am so sorry I have not written in this since before I left Japan!
My trip went really well - to start off with. Thank you so much to everyone who wished me well.
I am doing better than I expected. I have been too busy to really get too sad. I a lot has happened in the last couple of days...
First off, it seems my friend Marie has decided to stay in England with her parents.. I am really sad about that.. But I am happy that she and her family are together again. At least we can visit, right?
Secondly, things are going well with me staying with Jean-Luc's family. They are rarely around, but they are treating me well. My father and I have been talking to one another, too, by the way. It seems that therapy is making him feel better, so we are attempting to patch things up slowly but surely..
Thirdly, I decided that I would try out for the school play this year.. I have always wanted to act and my father finally gave me his consent (thank you, Hikari-san, for suggesting I try and talk to him again! Thank you!!) and I am off to my auditions tomorrow after school.. I am really really nervous.. But Jean-Luc has agreed to come and keep me company! If I do get a part, I will have to invite you all out to France to come and see the performance at the end of June!
Lastly, I got in touch with Anna finally! I was going to invite her and Sonya to come down to France for the weekend so I could take them shopping - but since they do not have passports, I decided that I would go to Russia to see them. It just so happened to work out, because my parents wanted me to come to Russia with them this weekend - since my father is going there for a meeting. So, it seems I am going to be in Russia this weekend. I really look forward to seeing you Anna, Sonya! And Yuri, I cannot wait to bring Madeline over to meet Yoda! I hope that they get along well.
