Yamato pulled on his coat, running a hand through his hair as he made sure he had everything. Wallet, keys, jacket, cell... got it all. He opened the door and looked back to Gabumon. "Don't open the door, don't go to the Digital World unless you contact me! Talk on the journals." He lifted a hand in wave and was rewarded with a nod and a wave from his companion. Turning, he shut the door.
Catherine and Jean-Luc were both silent as they approached the looming hotel in the distance. Jean-Luc was most concerned about his companion, she hadn't said a word the entire walk over. He couldn't help but wonder what Takeru was thinking, but he didn't really want to pry.
Once in front of the large building, Jean-Luc turned to his companion with a smile. "Here we are.."
Yamato locked the door and stuffed his keys into his pocket. Heading to the elevator, he clicked the button and waited. When the doors opened, he stepped aside for a few people to go by and then walked in. Clicking the first floor button, Yamato waited with a yawn.
Catherine didn't really know what to say. She had no problem with the hotel in itself, but.. She couldn't help but feel frightened by it.. Was this the end of her and Takeru's relationship already? Was he throwing in the towel already?
"It's fine, Jean-Luc." she forced a smile as she looked up at her friend. "Should we go and get my things..?" She winced. She really didn't want to go back now.. What could she possibly say to Takeru now?
Yamato headed on out of the hotel--aiming to get to his car as fast as possible. Not that he'd ever had that many problems here at the hotel with fans. It was actually a pretty nice place. His hair blew softly in a gentle breeze... and that's when all hell broke loose.
"YAMATO-SAMA!"
"It is him! It is!"
Without warning, Yamato was swarmed by a dozen fans. "Crap..."
The shrill cries of fan-girls immediatly caught the attention of the two French teenagers. Both of them turned towards the crowd and wandered over curiously, both of them recognising the name, just for different reasons..
The two tried to fight through the crowd, although they found it was a lot more work than they had bargained for.
"E-Excuse me.. Pardon me.." the two weaved in and out of the fan-girls until they got a clear view of the blonde rock star. Both of them felt their jaws drop.
"I-Ishida-san!" Takeru's brother?! What a coincidence...
"Y-Yamato Ishida.." Jean-Luc gaped, wide eyed. He loved Yamato's guitar playing and he had to fight to keep himself from rushing over.
"Ishida-san! Over here!" Catherine waved to him, wondering if he'd see her in the sea of people..
Yamato was scribbling 'Ishida' on random parts of girl's shirts, hands, papers... He looked up to see who owned the voice and tilted his head. "Catherine? Ah, sorry. Gotta go." He muttered, pushing through the girls to get to Catherine and her companion. "What on earth are you doing here?" He asked, obviously confused.
"Y-Y-Yamato Ishida.." Jean-Luc stared at Yamato in wide eyed surprise, much to Catherine's amusement.
"Ishida-san! What a surprise? Are you staying at this hotel?" she smiled to him, her happy mask plastering itself to her face, to hide the sadness. "My friend, Jean-Luc was showing me the hotel.. He and I are staying here starting tonight!"
Yamato glanced to Jean-Luc before looking back to Catherine. "Yeah. I'm staying here until I leave on tour."
"What happened to your girlfriend?" A fan called.
"I still have her as my girlfriend!" Yamato shouted in response. "THIS is my little brother's girlfriend." The fans oohed and aahed before they hurried away.
Catherine glanced at her friend with an eyebrow raised, she had never seen him not having something to say.
"Well, I guess we will be able to get to know each other before I leave for France then." she was happy to hear that there would be a friendly face in this hotel, she was going to need it. She was so lost about what to do about Takeru.. She blushed at the girlfriend comment and laughed nervously.
"So, are you heading to Takeru's, by any chance? Or Mimi-san's, perhaps?"
Yamato nodded. "Heading to Takeru's to take him around for a bit. Let him relax, you know? And--you're going to be staying here?"
"We are just heading back there now.. To get my things.." A smile was on her face, but she couldn't hide the sadness in her voice this time.
Jean-Luc finally snapped out of his daze and he cast Catherine a worried glance, not sure what to say.
"Uh.. Yah! Catherine and I are going to be staying here. She doesn't want to burden Takeru-san any longer, I think.."
Yamato nodded. "Need a lift to get there in style?" He grinned. He loved to show off his car.
"A-Are you sure it's okay, Ishida-san..?" Catherine didn't know much about cars, but she had the feeling even her father would be pleased with this once...
Jean-Luc, on the other hand, switched back into fan-boy-mode.
"This is your car?! As to be expected from a musician of your skill level!" he grinned as he walked around the car with a look of interest. "I'd love to go for a drive in this.."
Yamato eyed the boy. "Yes, it is my car." The fashionable sports car was every bit awesome. Dazzling black, Yamato headed for the drivers door and opened it. "Get in, you two."
Catherine cautiously opened the door and slid inside, glancing over at Yamato shyly. Did he hate her for what happened with Takeru? She wanted to know, but she was afraid to find out.. She glanced over at Jean-Luc as he got in and chuckled at him. "Jean-Luc, please stop you chattering.. You are going to annoy Ishida-san.."
Jean-Luc quickly shut his mouth and gave a sheepish grin. "S-Sorry.."
"It takes a lot more to annoy me. Like that idiot--" He shut up. No. Ignore that guy. He wasn't worth your breath. Inhaling he glanced back at them. "Seatbelts?"
"That idiot?" Catherine was curious, but decided not to ask right out. It wasn't her business, after all. She buckled her seat belt, as did Jean-Luc.
"By the way, Cathy.. You didn't tell me you knew Yamato Ishida.." he muttered, making a face at the back of her head.
"He's Takeru's brother, Jean-Luc.." she explained, glancing over at Yamato curiously. They really did look a like..
Yamato started up the engine, put the car in reverse and backed up, before he moved it to drive and headed out onto the streets. "Yep. Older brother by--I think three years?"
Jean-Luc started, completely awestruck. This was Takeru's brother?! He had no idea Takeru had a famous brother..
"Wow.. That's really something else.. You do look a like.." he fidgeted slightly and then added, "Are you and Takeru going out today? I guess Catherine and I are on our own.."
Catherine was silent, on the other hand. She didn't know if she wanted to know..
Yamato nodded. "Just for a while. He was upset when I called him Saturday. Hey, Catherine?"
Catherine jolted from her thoughts and glanced back at Yamato, the smile finding its way back to her face.
"Yes, Ishida-san? Sorry, did I zone out?"
"No one's mad anymore. Well--not everyone. Stress hits us all and it doesn't matter if you're Chosen or not." He shrugged. "I'm getting kind of sick of everything being pinpointed to being a Chosen. We're still normal people in a way."
Those words brought a genuine smile to her face. Yamato was kind, as well, she saw.
"Thank you, Ishida-san.. I am really happy that I worked things out with Mimi-san yesterday." really REALLY glad, she thought to herself. "I still feel really bad, though.. I did not want to cause anyone trouble.. Especially.. Not your brother.."
Yamato shook his head. "Don't worry. It was bound to happen. Takeru will get out of this though--he's growing up so he's finding his place. It's difficult when there's so many unique people you know." He sighed. "Do you ever get bothered about being told repeatedly that you're a Chosen?"
Catherine frowned thoughtfully. She knew that Yamato was right. He knew Takeru better than she ever would!
"I really do wish I could help him through this.. But.. I think that I have screwed things up now.." she gave a light laugh and then nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, it really does get frusterating.. Just because we are chosen, does not mean that we are any smarter or stronger than anyone else that is our age, I do not think.. But that is my opinion.."
Yamato shrugged. "We'll step up to protect the Digital World, but damn. Let us have some freedom to live normally." It wasn't long until they pulled up to the apartment duplex. "So What floor are you going to be staying on?"
"Exactally!" Catherine nodded enthusiastically. "If only everyone else would think the same way.."
Jean-Luc let out a sigh of relief, glad that he could start talking again. "I think we are on the fourth floor. I am still surprised Takeru isn't worried about you sharing a room with me, Cath-Ther-Rine!" he poked her in the back of the neck. "What floor are you on, Ishida-sama?"
"Fourth floor too." Yamato smirked, turning the car off. "So I'll be seeing more of you both. What room number?"
"Uhm.. Room number ___." Catherine murmered, purposly evading Jean-Luc's comment. "What about you? It's great that we both are going to be on the same floor!"
"Wow! What luck, really." Jean-Luc grinned widely. "We will have to have dinner together sometime, or something! I wish I could play my drums for you, so you could give me your opinion.."
"... I'm right next door." Yamato blinked, rubbing his forehead. He wasn't sure if this was good or bad.
"Eh?!" the two teens were both completely shocked.
Catherine wasn't too sure if this was good or bad, although she did want to make friends with Takeru's brother.. Perhaps she could show him that she wasn't all bad..
Jean-Luc on the other hand looked about ready to float away with happiness. "That is so cool! We should have a party, or something!! Oh wait.. I can't buy wine here legally, can I...?"
"I have no idea." Yamato replied, opening the door and getting out of the car. "Let's go."
The two teens unbuckled and got out of the car, taking care to hit the locks on the doors.
Catherine let out a large sigh, she was really worried about this.. But with Yamato with them, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad...?
Yamato headed up to the elevator, turning back to the two kids. "Just remember--I'm not a very social guy on most days."
Jean-Luc grinned, he didn't really know the meaning of not being social, but he still nodded in understanding.
"We won't be in your way, Ishida-san.. I am going to try and visit as many of the chosen as I can before I leave." she smiled, wishing that that time could be spent with Takeru.. But she was too afraid to ask him if he wanted to go or not. She followed Yamato into the elevator and frowned. This was it.. The moment of goodbye..
Yamato glanced to her. "What's wrong?"
The younger girl stiffened for a moment, looking completely shocked.
"N-Nothing.." she lowered her eyes and chewed her lower lip thoughtfully, then added. "I am just.. Worried about Takeru.." A half-truth, but she didn't think Yamato would care that she thought Takeru didn't like her anymore...
"Why?" Yamato turned to face her. "Is he all right?"
She forced a smile, glancing quickly at Jean-Luc who was peering at her curiously. He had been bugging her that morning about what had happened and she hadn't told him, either.
"I.. I think I scared him.." she admited, letting out a nervous laugh. "Stupid, really.. I think he will be happy to see me go.."
"What makes you think that?" Yamato asked, curiously.
Jean-Luc frowned over at her, keeping silent. Could this be a chance for him already?
"He..I.." she blushed and looked off to the side. "I told him something stupid.. I popped the big "L-Word" without thinking.. He got weirded out and well.. He didn't seem too sad when Jean-Luc offered to take me away the other night.. I think he is tired of me already.." she gave a sad laugh and a mournful smile came to her face. "But I guess that is to be expected.. I caused him so much trouble already.."
Yamato blinked before he scratched his head. "Catherine, you know, that happened to me."
"R-Really..?" Her shock was apparent immediatly as she turned her head at lightning speed. "You mean.. Even you have had these kinds of problems, Ishida-san?"
"I've only ever been in two relationships my entire life," Yamato smiled. "Mimi is the second and she told me that. She thought I was going to break up with her because she thought I was scared away."
".. I see.. And.. You didn't tell her how you really felt, either, then?" she paused thoughtfully and studied his face curiously. "But you do love her, right..? Why didn't you tell her?"
Yamato faltered and looked away. "I didn't know what love is. It's something I never believed in." He headed out of the elevator.
She nodded silently, that made sense to her. "I am sorry for prying, by the way. Thank you for talking with me, Ishida-san. Mimi-san is lucky to have you." she beamed up at him and hurried down the hall towards the apartment, Jean-Luc following behind with a frown. Her mask was back up already...
"It's all right. I'm used to it. It comes with being a Rockstar. Say, Jean.... uuuh. Yeah, you?" He looked over his shoulder. "How did you know me?"
"Jean-Luc." he responded with a smile. "Jean or J.L are both fine, too." He followed Yamato and then grinned at the question. "I have really ecclectic taste in music. I love listening to your band, your guitar playing is fantastic! I really want to learn, but the drums are my thing!"
Catherine paused at the doorway and turned to glance at the two men, she was afraid to enter by herself now.. How would she act in front of Takeru..?
Yamato brushed by her to knock and then stepped back. "Really? That's actually neat that my music has gone that far."
Jean-Luc nodded his head enthusiastically.
"I've listened to music from all over the globe! I admire bands that have good musicians. I love music! I just wish I could learn more." he chuckled and sidled up to Catherine. "You okay?"
She nodded swiftly. "Yep! No problem.. Really.."
Takeru heard the knock on the door and sighed. More visiters? Or...maybe it was Catherine! He got up from the couch and walked to the door, opening it slowly, "Hello?"
Floramon had finally gotten up and had begun to pack. Hearing the knock on the door she poked her head aroud the bedroom's door frame
As the door opened, Yamato flashed a smirk. "Delivery--one female, one male and a rockstar. Will you sign?"
Catherine was stone still at first, not really sure how to react, however Yamato's comment caused her to giggle.
"Sorry for the intrusion.." she added with a nod of her head. She didn't move at first and Jean-Luc frowned and nudged her foreward, adding a cheery,
"Good afternoon, Takeru-san!"
"Ah, so much company, I was not expecting~" Takeru replied with a smile, " Come in everyone!"
Floramon smiled when she saw Catherine at the door, but who was that with her? Both boys looked similar to Takeru...
Yamato walked in, hooking his arm around Takeru's neck and dragged him backwards. "Kaasan here?"
Catherine slapped on a smile as she followed Yamato into the apartment, giving it a once over that made her want to cry.
"Catherine, why don't you get your stuff...?" Jean-Luc whispered to her, nudging her again until she started towards the bedroom without another word.
"No, gone out on a date~" He replied, grabbing onto his brother
Coming fully out of the room Floramon greeted her partner.
Yamato brought his other arm down, digging his knuckles into Takeru's cranium. "Chased her off again, eh?" Yamato laughed. "Turns out Jean-Luc and Catherine are my neighbors at the hotel."
Jean-Luc grinned at the two of them as he lightly shut the door behind them. He couldn't help but like them both, even if he hadn't known them for long.
"Yeah, I was pretty surprised by that myself!" he laughed nervously, eyeing Catherine as she asked her partner how the packing was coming along.
"Yeah, I did and wow, that's a coincidence, isn't it?"
Floramon smiled and replied that it was going well. She then whispered to Catherine. "Ms. Catherine, who are these people?"
Yamato's grip on Takeru loosened slightly but his smirk remained. Whatever happened to the depressed Yamato? He was feeling... refreshed. Happy. Utterly happy. "Takeru, you ready to go?"
"Oh, right. You were asleep when Jean-Luc came by last night.. The shorter one is Jean-Luc, the taller is Takeru's brother, Ishida Yamato-san."
Jean-Luc glanced over at the two and sighed, he just had to play the good guy again.. He sidled up to Takeru and whispered, "Hey, Takeru-san.. You have my cell number.. Give me a call later, okay?"
Takeru nodded. "Go where?"
Floramon nodded, moving over to introduce herself, "Good Morning to you all. If I may introduce myself, I am Floramon."
Yamato looked over and waved. "Hey. I'm Yamato. Catherine?"
Catherine paused and glanced back at Yamato, forcing a smile once again. Her mask was dangerously close to cracking, but she knew it had to wait until after they had left.
"Y-Yes, Ishida-san?"
"No, seriously, Yama, where are we going?" Takeru asked, confused
"I have no idea," Yamato chirped. "Catherine, I'll make Takeru visit you a lot while you're here. I'll take you all back to the hotel with your stuff before Takeru and I go." Turning, his grin widened at Takeru. "Takaishi! Make sure you wear shoes that sand won't get into!"
Catherine smiled softly, Takeru's brother really was as kind as she thought he was.
"Thank you very much, Ishida-san. If it is not too much trouble, I would like that."
Jean-Luc knelt down in front of Floramon and introduced himself.
"Good to see you are up and about. I'm Jean-Luc, by the way." he glanced up and cast a grateful smile to Yamato. Perhaps they could tag team Catherine and Takeru..
Takeru nodded and feared for the worst. He went over and pulled on his most worn down pair of shoes and watched the others carefully.
Floramon nodded in responce to JL, "I am pleased to make your aquaintance."
"Did you get everything packed, Catherine?" Yamato asked, heading to the kitchen. "Takeru! Want a soda?"
"Oh! Y-Yes.." She turned on her heel and disappeared to gather the few bags she had. It was almost over.. Then she could let the mask fall..
Jean-Luc turned back to Floramon and smiled. "I think we will get along just fine. We both love Cathy and that's enough to make us friends, right?"
Floramon smiled brightly, he did seem to be a kind soul, and from what she knew he had helped Catherine and her when thay had been in trouble. "Indeed it would seem that way."
Takeru nodded dumbfoundly and went to go sit back down. So many people, in his house, at one time...
Yamato pressed a cold can of soda against Takeru's cheek. "Jean, you and Takeru will take down Catherine's stuff to the car, alright? And Takeru--Tousan misses you. You haven't called him for a while and he thinks you don't love him anymore."
Jean-Luc smiled happily to Floramon before he stood back up and nodded to Yamato with a grin on his face.
"Sure thing! I am always happy to help!"
Catherine trudged out and set her bags down beside her, trying to take in the appearance of the apartment.
"Well.. I guess.. This is it.."
Takeru nodded and got up from the couch, going over to Catherine, "For this second anyway..."
Floramon moved to stand beside Catherine, slipping one of her petaled hands into her friend's.
Catherine lowered her eyes shyly and nodded her head. She couldn't let him see through her this time. Giving Floramon's hand a quick squeeze, she glanced back up to Takeru and smiled softly.
"If..If you aren't too busy.. I.. I really would like to spend more time with you, Takeru.."
"No questions Catherine...I...really want to spend time with you too!" He replied sheepishly, pulling her in for an awkward hug.
Shifting a little uncomfortably Floramon looked up to Catherine.
"My little brother has grown up so fast." Yamato mocked a sniffle.
Catherine had to bite down hard on her lips to keep from crying now. She wrapped her arms around him and squeezed tightly. "Good. I couldn't bare to never see you again.."
"Hey, Cathy!" Jean-Luc grinned, adding, "If he is too busy, we can play in the hotel room together.. It'll be just the two of us, right?"
"Define play St. Jaques." Takeru replied with a serious tone. Leave it to Jean-Luc to kill the atmopshere.
Floramon smiled around the room. It was nice to see normal interactions. She laughed lightly at Jean-Luc's comment. Catherine had mentioned he was different then other French Aristocrats. "I think I like Mr. Jean-Luc, Ms. Catherine."
Yamato tapped his foot impatiently. He wasn't trying to be rude--but for his plan to abuse his father with his brother were going to go, it had to be sometime soon. Not to mention he wanted to make sure someone got to his hotel room to check on Gabumon...
Catherine smiled over at Floramon, she was about to answer and then had to clamp a hand over her mouth to keep from shouting as Jean-Luc came up behind her and started nibbling on her neck with a look of mischief on his face.
"Oh, I dunno.. I am sure I can think of something." He leapt backwards with a laugh, to avoid a whap from a very flustered Catherine.
"J-Jean-Luc! Cut that out!"
Takeru took a step back and let the two go at each other, moving over to Yamato, "Speed things up, why don't you?"
Floramon could only stare in wide eyed amazment, 'so Ms. Catherine was not exaggerating when she spoke of him...' She looked to Takeru to see how he would respond further.
Yamato nudged Takeru with his shoulder but winced, rubbing it. "Might as well..."
Jean-Luc chuckled, he had had way too much sugar this morning.. He bounded over and started cuddling Takeru.
"Aw, you know I am just playing! I wouldn't do anything without you being invited to join in."
Catherine slapped a hand to her face. Why had she given him that cake..?
"Jean-Luc... Please.."
He released Takeru and pouted. "Fine fine. I'll behave.."
Takeru just shook his head, "Let's get out of here quickly please. Before something gets broken."
Floramon returned to Catherine's side and whispered quickly, "I can not beleive that Mr. Jean-Luc can be who you say he is. He behaves in such a strange manner..." She trailed off and watched as he pouted from beside Takeru. Shaking her head she clasped her hands together and looked uncomfortable.
Yamato nodded. "Go get her stuff, Takeru, Jean. Catherine, Floramon, ladies first." He said, opening the door with a little bow.
Catherine felt her mask faltering once more and she nodded quickly to Yamato before rushing out the door, putting a hand to cup her nose and mouth to stifle a sob. Jean-Luc had gone too far this time..
And he knew it.. He watched her and frowned, mentally kicking himself. He had gotten too carried away.. He let out a sigh and wandered over to pick up her things. He'd pick up the pieces later..
Takeru grabbed two bags and followed Catherine out the door with a sigh. Yamato was up to something...
Floramon hurried out the door behind Catherine. She tried her best to think of something to cheer up Catherine, but couldn't think of a thing.
"Did you get your keys?!" Yamato yelled after Takeru. He'd wait until Jean was out before he locked the door.
Jean-Luc trailed behind the others. He didn't think Catherine would want to speak to him just yet..
A few tears fell from Catherine's eyes as she mentally beat herself up. What a disaster... She glanced over at Floramon and forced a smile.
"Everything will be all right.. Right..?" she whispered through her hand..
"Yup!" Takeru yelled back, walking a pace behind Catherine and Floramon...
Floramon smiled, unsure of what the future might hold. She would never let Catherine see her doubt, "Of course Ms. Catherine. We are together again, and now have many friends who wish to look after us. We will be all right."
Yamato locked the door and headed after them. "No banging into my car!"
Catherine lowered her hand and batted at her tears, smiling down at Floramon with a nod.
"Y..You are absolutly right, Floramon.. You're right.." she bent down to retrieve one of Floramon's petalled hands. She would be okay no matter what happened.. Right..?
Takeru continued in silence, not sure whether to comfort Catherine or not.
Beaming Floramon nodded emphatically, "Of course we will!" I hope, she added silently.
And they arrived at the car! Yamato pulled his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the trunk, opening it up. "Put her stuff in here."
Catherine found her smile again as she thanked the two men for their help. She cursed herself for getting so emotional and then slid into the back seat, gripping her skirt with her fingernails. Why did disaster always have to follow her?
Takeru set the suitcases down carefully and made a b-line for the front seat, sitting down and snapping himself in quickly.
Floramon slid into the car next to Catherine, sitting in the middle of the car.
Once all the bags were in the trunk, Yamato shut it and headed for the driver's seat, getting in and buckling in.
Jean-Luc shook his head as he climbed in next to Floramon. God, those two were a pain in the ass! He buckled himself in and poked Catherine.
"Buckle up, you silly woman."
She stared at him blankly and then glanced down at the seat belt, buckling it wordlessly.
"Let's Go!" Takeru exclaimed suddenly.
Floramon sat stiffly in the backseat feeling the tension between the people she sat between. Jumping a little when Takeru shouted, Floramon nodded quicky, "yes, that would be best I think."
Yamato turned the car back to the street and drove off. "Hey, Catherine? Do you think when you get to the hotel that you can stop by my room and see how Gabumon is?"
Catherine looked up, slightly startled hearing her own name.
"O-Of course! I wouldn't mind at all." I could use the company, she thought knowingly. "Do you think he will open up for me, when he does not know me yet..?"
"Just tell him who you are and he'll open up. " Yamato replied.
"Okay. I can do that." she smiled softly and glanced at the seat Takeru was in. He was being so quiet.. She wondered if she should apologise again or not..
They arrived at the hotel shortly after--Yamato getting out to open the door for Catherine. "Remember to check on Gabumon for me. And Jean, you can take Catherine's stuff up."
Catherine smiled thankfully to Yamato and nodded her head.
"I won't forget. Thank you so much, Ishida-san." she gave a light bow and watched as Jean-Luc went to gather her luggage.. This was her last chance, really.. She wandered over to Takeru's side, not sure if he would even notice her.
"T..Takeru.. Once again, I just want you to know that.. I am really sorry.. Really..Sorry.."
Takeru, who had awoken as the car stopped, looked to Catherine, "There's nothing to apologize for m'dear. In fact.." He opened the door and stepped out for a moment, "I should be apologizing to you."
He brought her in for a kiss and tried to keep an emotionless facade up.
Floramon approached Yamato, "Thank you very much for bringing us here. It is greatly appreciated."
Yamato nodded. "No problem. It was in our way of going, so it was fine."
Catherine felt a sense of relief wash over her and she held onto him tightly as she kissed him back. The tears were forming again, but of happiness this time. As she pulled back, she rested her forehead against his with a smile, her face lightly flushed. "Takeru, you have nothing to apologise for.. Really.." she caressed his cheek and smiled warmly, treasuring him. She hadn't lost him after all.
"I do, but let's not argue that now. Keep some time free for me, alright? I'll call you and make plans tonight, I promise."
Catherine smiled brightly and nodded her head vigorously. "My phone will stay on all night for you, then." she batted at her tears and laughed lightly. "And I would clear my schedule for you every day, if you so wished for it."
Jean-Luc shook his head and closed the trunk, the baggage all taken out now. "Thanks again, Ishida-san. Sorry about the trouble."
"No trouble." Yamato replied. "I'll--or we'll--see you guys tonight. I gotta stop by and see my bandmates after I take Takeru around. 'Til then, ja."
Takeru waved and got back into the car, sighing loudly and dabbing at his face again. Stupid emotions.
Jean-Luc wandered over and grabbed Catherine by the arm.
"Time to say goodbye, Cath-Ther-Rine." He said with a wave, that she mirrored, a smile on her face finally.
"Goodbye, you two! Thanks again!"
Jean-Luc chuckled and tugged on her arm, leading her to the hotel. "Hurry up! I want to take you shopping after we go and visit with Ishida-san's Gabumon!"
