Going to meet Mimi and Hikari <3
((OOC: Sorry this took so long! I had no idea who wanted to start.. ^^;
Anyways, this is the Friday when Mimi and Hikari arrive at the airport. <3 Tag you two! =D ))
Catherine and Yuri entered the familiar airport, getting a blast of cool air from the air-conditioned building, which was a nice change from how hot it was outside. So much for her wishful thinking about it being nice and cool outside on the day of her first performance..
As the pair walked hand in hand through the airport, Catherine's eyes darted around for the terminal they were supposed to be going to. She hadn't picked up anyone from Japan at the airport before, so this was new to her.. But luckily the airport was sectioned off fairly well and it didn't take her too long to figure out where they were supposed to be going.
"Good thing we decided to come early." she responded cheerfully, giggling ever so slightly as she cast a glance in Yuri's direction.
Things had been going so well already and despite them being at that party the night before, she wasn't at all tired. She was running on pure adrenaline now! Tonight would be her first performance and now they were on their way to meet up with Mimi-chan and her parents, along with Hikari-san, who she had thought wouldn't be able to make it. She hadn't seen Mimi since.. Well.. Hanami! And Hikari-san, not since they had first met! So, this was rather exciting for her and she gave Yuri's hand a squeeze as she fought the urge to start bouncing. Why was she so hyper anyways? She should be nervous about messing up the play tonight.. Perhaps Yuri and Phillipe's votes of confidence the night before were what had done it - but she really wasn't nervous at all.
Once they had found the terminal, Catherine came to a stop and checked her watch. They were still a bit early luckily. Hopefully finding Mimi-chan and Hikari-san wouldn't be that hard to do. She had seen them both before, so that would at least make it easier to spot them..
Anticipation filled Yuri as he waited with Catherine for Yagami Hikari and Tachikawa Mimi. He had never met either of the girls, and though he knew a little bit about Mimi through Yamato, Sonya and Anna he knew next to nothing about Hikari. This was the end of his private time with Catherine, but that didn’t exactly mean the fun this weekend was over-despite being completely surrounded by girls Yuri could still have fun. It wasn’t hard to manage when he was around Sonya and Anna, so what made Hikari and Mimi any different?
However, he wasn’t completely sure about Mimi… she was probably a nice girl and he just didn’t know her enough, but after that phone call with Yamato yesterday he felt rather confused about the girl. Not about to make any sudden judgments or start digging around in business that wasn’t his, Yuri still thought it was best to keep an eye on Mimi just in case. It was highly unlikely she was a horrible person or anything…but better safe than sorry?
Ah, what am I thinking? thought Yuri, smiling a little at the nonsense thoughts in his head. He was just being paranoid! It was best to stop trying to imagine how this trip will be and just enjoy it. They’ll go see the play after the airport and hang out together and everything would be fine. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover anyway-or judge a person just from gossip, even if a good friend told you it.
He stopped his thinking to give a sideways glance at Catherine, his olive eyes dancing with delight. “Good point. Airplanes change their times too much anyway…I wonder if their plane will get on time though. I can’t wait to meet them!”
