Hmm... I'm not sure, maybe Haunting Ground. I haven't seen it mentioned much, but maybe I've not been looking in the right places. Anyway. While it wasn't perfect or original by any means, (the whole 'defenceless teenage girl being chased by monsters' idea is hardly new) I found it a really creepy, absorbing game. The fact that the longer you get chased and the closer the enemy gets to you eventually sees Fiona go into a blind panic and makes her hard to control can be frustrating at times, but it does transfer that sense of panic over to the player as you try your best to escape whoever's after you for long enough for her to calm down. Being able to hide from the enemies and watch them from Fiona's point of view, stalking the room and sometimes finding you, is pretty creepy as well. The AI is clever too, whoever's following you tends to remember where you've hidden before so it's not too bright to use a hiding place more than once. And finally, Daniella. Just... Daniella.

Keep Tryin' by Utada Hikaru. It's just the perfect upbeat song, and it never fails to cheer me up. Either that or
NEXT LEVEL by Ayumi Hamasaki. Cheery, summery, lovely.
