Crazy snowstorm yesterday!!!
So, as you know, it's freezing in Utah, 19 degrees every morning when I leave the house. By the afternoon on monday it was pretty decent, in fact the icicle that was as tall as I am melted away.

The new humanities building that's being built. This was taken at 6 o' clock at night. So pretty!
But as January has continued, it has only gotten colder and the snow worse! Yesterday it started snowing at midnight and did not quit all day long. It is the worst snow I have ever seen in my life. I took the wrong bus and had to get off three blocks before our place, and it took me 25 minutes to walk through the 2 1/2 foot snow! Talk about a work out.
These are the steps up from our apartment, the top step is at ground level!
I couldn't open the gate all the way! It's halfway deep in snow!
These are the stairs down to the street, you can't even see individual steps!
An example of how the trees look. This is in the yard of the neighbor just south of us.
An alternate view of the steps down to our apartment, look how much snow has gathered on the roof! If you look hard you can see the snow that slid off the roof in chunks, it makes a huge crashing noise that scares the crap out of Gustav.
Ha ha, it looks like we're snowed in, we might be in the basement, but our windows are above ground level.
