The flight over felt traumatic, especially after my lack of sleep. However, Lewis' enthusiasm for the mechanics soon won me over, and I was watching the video of the landing at the end. Our boarding was delayed some, and the bags had to be sprayed, so we were a little late in meeting Grandma, Auntie Janet and Ashleigh. When we did, we smooshed together in a big hug and found out way out of the airport.
I had no idea I was in for a long drive, but I was. I felt obligated to keep up my side of the conversation, so there was no sleep for me! Ashleigh and I listened to some music on my iPod, but for the most part I answered questions through parched lips. Drinks were bought and we continued on.
When we arrived at the house, we were reaccquainted with Uncle Brett, Emma, Tim and Granny. Tim was being a T-Rex and had his hands held in front of him. Presents were shared around and soon Lewis had initiated the First Toy Battle, which had several casualties.
Ashleigh, Emma and Tim showed off their new threads.
Then it's back to the fight!
Auntie Janet won't let us take photos, but sometimes she can't avoid it, so I will try and put some up soon! I miss everyone, and I miss not being able to bug people when I want to!
So, from New Zealand, Paige says hello and good bye!
