Carmine and Experience
Background: Experience Woodstock is hell bent on becoming the next Godfather of Nocheat. And she's made some smart moves to help ensure it happens. She's teamed up with Carmine DeTreville, the youngest of the 2nd generation DeTreville clan. And, with the help of Carmine and Pandora Senora, she's been profiting off her neighbors' insatiable desire to gamble. The sports book (run by Carmine and Pandora) is flourishing. But with the creation of Mr. Belvedere (a servo) it's time for Experience to put her master plan to work (and finally get into the official criminal career track).
Don't get the wrong idea. Experience doesn't propose to Carmine merely to help her criminal advancement. She loves him. Maybe even as much as she loves the idea of being the most powerful criminal in Nocheat. Carmine loves her as well.
"I can't believe it, Ex. We're going to get married. Who should we invite to the party?"
"About that. I was thinking we could just have something very private and intimate. It's just that this is such a special thing, just for us. . ."
"Oh. I kind of wanted to have a party, you know, to show how excited we are. . ."
*I hate when he looks at me that way. I just know I'll end up giving in. This wedding is going to be a huge pain in the ass. We'll have to do so much work so the guests don't figure out. . .*
"It's going to be a lot of work, that's all, Carm."
"But by that time, the electronics store will be taken care of by Malcolm and we can just. . ."
"I'm so excited about that. I'm still so shocked your sister, Isadora, knows a sim like Malcolm Landgraab. I mean, she's kind of a ditz. No offense."
"None taken. She is kind of out of it. But she really believes this is a legit thing. . ."
"It IS, Carmine. It IS. . ."
"You know what I'm saying, Ex."
"I think I'm a little confused? Maybe if I get a little closer to your lips. . ."
They retire to the bedroom to continue their discussion.
"So, Pandora and the kid will move in with Malcolm."
"Well, after Imogene becomes a toddler. It's too hard to move a baby."
"That makes sense. I'm so excited this is all going to work out."
"How excited?"
"VERY excited."
"Hey, Belvedere, get out man. Can't you see Ex and I are trying to be alone?"
*what were they talking about? They're going to take my baby?*
Mr. Belvedere needs to know what Experience is up to.
"Ma'am, I accidentally overheard you talking to Mister DeTreville. Is Miss Pandora moving out? Is she taking little miss Imogene?"
"Yes, she'll be moving soon. After the kid becomes a toddler. I guess moving a baby is too hard."
"But why, Ma'am?"
"Well, Belevedere, Carmine found us a genie. A genie who's going to grant us our big wish. Pandora's going to go live with this genie."
"Genie?"
"Malcolm Landgraab IV. Our genie."
"He's going to take us to the next level, Belvedere. And the next level is THE TOP!"
"Does Miss Pandora know?"
"Carmine is going to tell her tomorrow."
"I have a great money making propostion for you, Pandora."
"You want me to start selling my forgeries? They're getting very good. I think it would be a nice way to go."
"No. I have something bigger for you. My sister, Isadora, got me in touch with Malcolm Landgraab IV."
"You mean that filthy rich playboy in Bluewater Village?"
"The very same. Seems he's interested in selling Ex's electronics. We'll have the perfect front."
"Wow. That's great. But where do I come in?"
"Well, I need you to move in with Malcolm and set up production."
"But, I don't have very many robotics skills. I can't even make half the items."
"Oh, Ex will take care of that. So, after Imogene becomes a toddler, you guys can move in with Malcolm. He has a great house. It will be awesome."
"So I'm going to keep the books? What will I have to do?"
"Just make sure he never runs out of product. That's it. You can live in a mansion and raise Imogene and just do whatever else you want. As long as the product never runs out."
"What about the sports book?"
"Well, with the boutique being run by Malcolm, I can devote all my time to the book. And Belvedere, here, can do what he does best, schmoozing the neighbors and collecting debts."
"Ok, but I'm still not sure how, with my limited skills, I'm going to ensure the product never runs out?"
"I told you, Pandora, Ex is taking care of all that."
Indeed, she is.
Pandora wonders if Carmine will miss little Imogene. He's so good with her. Well, he can always come visit them at Malcolm's estate.
It's not long before Imogene becomes a toddler.
And she looks wonderful. She's a potential Uglification Challenge heir. She looks promising.
Experience wastes no time contacting Malcolm and getting the details figured out.
Then she gets on the computer and arranges for the moving truck.
She even gives Imogene a bath before she leaves.
"You're going to a great big house, kiddo. And I won't have to smell your rancid diapers anymore. Auntie Ex is so very excited about that, yes I am! And your'e going to make some exciting new friends. . ."
