Maxis taste Dare 15: Dates (aka Love for All Ages: Elder)

And coming in right under the wire is. . .

Yup, I finally got an idea for the elder portion of my self imposed Love for All Ages add on to the maxis_taste Dare 15.  I'm telling you, I just could NOT figure out what I wanted to do with this one.  I was tempted to go the easy route and trot out PT9 (*heartfarts*) or fall back on the super cute Goodies ( Read more... )

Haha! Brilliant.

Well played, Madame. I thoroughly enjoyed this take on the Goth situation, especially Bella arriving to break up the wedding. Take that, Don!

Thanks.

I've actively avoided writing the Goths for so long because they get done so much.

BUT. . .sometimes you just can't resist that sweet, sweet melodrama.

Don't I know it. Pleasantview is a hoot.

How could you resist, really? They're so iconic, so SIM.

Loved this twist in the story and your own back story for Bella's and PT9's lives. :D

Makes you wonder what, if anything, happened between PT and Bella on that ship, hmm?

That was really lovely. I loved seeing Mortimer propose, that nearly brought a tear to my eye; and then seeing Bella explain to Cassandra why she can't marry Don, that was the perfect ending.

All very well done, congratulations.

For some reason, I just love the last picture with Don casually strolling away. It's just like, "Whatever, you weirdos, I'm gonna go nail a Caliente."

That's pretty much what I was going for. Don was only marrying Cassandra because Mortimer was pressuring him (and he thought he might get some money out of it).

That was awesome! :D
Lvely idea and I really liked Bella as an elder. Great backstory for it, but also fits her right, imo.(She was away a long time anyways, she should be older! :P)

I also really enjoyed all the other posts, specially the one with Tank. So sweet!! <3

Thank you.

I know I was really stretching the dare with this one (the date's just a wee memory and technically it's an adult date, so I didn't even stick to my own "rules") but I just had to go with it.

The age thing (with Bella) is part of why I don't really care for her mythology very much. BUT, I do like thinking that Mortimer prefers youth and that's why he goes with the Caliente sister (even though he knows she's a gold digger).
