Ok, how DUMB am I?
Really, sometimes I wonder about myself.
So I was setting up Synapse (the Round Robin legacy/challenge heir) in his new abode. I had to fiddle with his skills and all that to get him "right". In fiddling with his robot talent badge, I used inSim to juice him up to where he's supposed to be. Then I go to the robot crafting table. What do I see? All but two of the choices are greyed out.
WHAT? Is inSim broken?
I clear the badge, exit the game and go in via simPe.
After juicing the badge in simPe, I got back into the game and straight to the robot station. The choices are STILL greyed out.
Great, just great. Something has to be wrong, RIGHT? Something REALLY bad, right?
Yeah, something was wrong.
ME!
Synapse only had about $500 to his name. DUMBASS, you can't AFFORD the other choices.
Yeah, you should feel bad for Synapse, having me as his benevolent goddess.
In other Round Robin news. . .
Despite being ruled by an idiot, Synapse is doing well. But I'm wondering if his recessive genetics are right.
I wanted to set his recessive hair to the custom blue his mother had. As noted above, being a dumbass I had to do it the LONGEST way possible. So I made a female sim (in CAS) with the blue hair. Then went into simPe and copied the code over to Synapse.
SPOILER/TEASER ALERT:
But after two breedings, the black hair is still dominant (and yes, both spawn are female). I have one more shot at getting a blue haired spawn. I'll admit it now, I'm going to try and up my chances.
Last but not least, I don't know why romance sims even bother getting jobs. They can make so much more cash going on dream dates. Synapse has netted (in no particular order): 1 cleaning skill point, 2 high end telescopes, 1 fountain, 1 sculpture, 2 vases, and 1 dj booth. KACHING, baby.
