All the cats I've ever had have looked down their wee little noses at dogs.
Even my current cats, when they visited my parents and their dog, had an air of haughty superiority over him (and he was the first dog they'd ever seen). And they really hated it when he took their heads in his mouth and gave them a good slobbering.
Cheech could so be the sim incarnation of one of my mother's cat's named Missy. She was about a year old when my mother had the nerve to let me get a dog. Somewhere there's a picture of Missy and Sage together. He's just a puppy yet, sitting facing the camera with that silly little puppy face and Missy is sitting next to him on a footstool...and the total look of disdain on her face is plain to see. She taught him well that she was Not to be slobbered on or played with. In fact, one thing I can say for Missy, she did teach Sage well how to play with kitties.
What really cracks me up about this sims family is, when I was a kid we had a black cat named Leonardo (aka Druffy) and a Dalmatian (Merlin).
When Merlin was a puppy, Druff was NOT amused. Puppy Merlin wanted nothing more than to play with Druff and he'd have NONE of it. I remember him taking Merlin by the lip, making him yelp. The dog learned quickly enough.
(and in the same vein, when Druff was a kitten, our older cat Margery was NOT amused--we have a picture of her in mid bitch slap--putting the smack on kitten Druff's head)

Oh, ouch! LOL!
Missy earned the name "Pissy-Missy" from me because of her personality. Yeah, she used to swat Sage and put him in his place. We'd hear the dog yelp and we'd yell, "Missy! Leave the dog alone!" The training served him well years later when mom and dad rescued a starving kitten. Sage was just as sweet and attentive and kind to that kitten as you could want.

It's so funny how we can all see cats having such disdain for dogs! Because you know they do!
