Death of "Godfather" Clears Way for Movie Release
With the announcement of the death of Nocheat's most notorious crime boss, Pierce Baena, fans await word of the release of director Rainbow Woodstock's much anticipated (and legally contested) bio-pic.
When asked to comment, Rainbow had this to say about the Godfather of Nocheat.
"I understand why everyone is so eager to learn about him. Pierce Baena was a great sim. So much more than JUST the leader of the powerful DeTreville crime family."
"I spoke to him a few days before he died. He was excited over the transitions of his two granddaughters, Bobbi Joe. . .
. . .and Esker."
"Pierce loved having the grandchildren around."
"But he was always very straightforward with them. That was how he approached his work and his homelife."
"He said living with the young family kept him on his toes. Especially his son in law, Filbert. But for all his grousing about Filbert, he knew his daughter had picked a good sim to have a family with."
With Pierce now reunited with his wife Hortence, the legal ties binding the release of the film about his life have fallen away.
"The authorities were very interested in the content of the film. Pierce had given them a bit of his history but only what he wanted them to know. Now that he's gone, the whole story can be safely told without fear of prosecution."
When asked to quote a date, Rainbow was hesitant.
"It depends on the family. I owe it to Pierce to give his family the time they need."
A reliable insider claims the release will be soon, to reap the benefits of the press surrounding Pierce's death.
Pierce Baena is survived by four daughters and seven grandchildren.
