POISON!
Some people can be so totally thoughtless and inconsiderate!
One of my co-workers left food-trash in his waist basket for too long and had small "sugar" ants crawling around his cubicle. Just a few, not an infestation by any means. So he took his trash out, good idea, remove the food and the ants go away, right? Apparently they didn't go away fast enough for him. 2 hours later he comes into the office with a can of RAID and proceeded to librally spary the area around his cubicle with it! at 3:30 in the afternoon. His cubicle is 8 feet away from mine and not seperated by a wall!
When I asked him why he couldn't have waited until 5, his answer was "It's country glade scented". I pointed out that it's an air born poison that kills living things and might be a bit toxic to us even if it didn't kill us. I also said that it may have been better to wait until everyone was leaving for the day so the air would have time to clear. He just shrugged me off and said that the ants were there now.
There are poisons that kill teeny little sugar ants that are not air born! And they're cheap!
I keep holding my breath unconsciencly and then gasping for air. It's awful!
So, I'm sitting here in a cloud of Country Glade scented toxins with a terrible headache. He had other things to do and will be away from his desk until 5:00!
