Feck and Double Feck!!!!!
It seems to be the season for breakdowns, not only is HAL 9 and bit still out of order but now my little Canon A70 camera has decided not to function properly. Now the bloody LCD screen has decided to only work on Stitch and movie modes, which means I can't use me macro accurately and I have bloody ArmadaCon in 2 weeks! *sobs and begs for sympathy!* At least it can still take images and record on the CF card, and you can still play back images on the LCD.
I checked the web and have found to my horror, this seems to be a pretty common problem and seems to be time related. I've emailed canon but don't expect much in the way of hope from them. Funny this has to happen exactly 2 years (27/10/03 was when I bought the thing) later.
