...Yeah, we'll all prolly end up playin' each other again at some point, if only in havin' friendly matches for old times' sake. But...we might miss chances to have matches with 'em in a certain way. With Nationals, that was my last chance ta play Kura as a rival. It won't be happenin' ever again. He ain't goin' pro like you and me and any other matches we have from now on will just be as friends, not competin' against each other. So I was happy I was able to reach that goal. 'Cause those are the kinda things that become what-ifs if they don't happen, and ya keep wonderin' what it would've been like. ...Ain't ya ever had that happen to ya before? An' I don't mean just in tennis, just...somethin' where you wished things'd played out in a different way so ya could get the most from it?

Ehhh, I guess that's true... And ya can't play tennis forever, so ya gotta fall back on somethin' when ya get too old to compete anymore. So maybe I should try doin' the same after all. But I ain't good at schoolwork and I'd prolly just fail my classes if I tried.
