Does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of mould/mildewy stuff in my drawer? It's made half of my jumpers go mildewy and the rest just smell really like old mouldy men. This is not ideal. I'm thinking drawer-liners might help (at least then they'd smell of old mouldy men with added orange) but is there some way of actually getting rid of the

Lysol is a spray disinfectant (NOT an air freshener) that kills germs and mold and mildew. It's a pretty huge brand here in the States, and I wouldn't be surprised if they sold it there, too, but they must have another brand there. You can find it at the grocery, probably in the cleaning supplies. When you find it, spray the hell out of the inside of the drawers with it and let it soak in, then let them dry out and then dry it out the rest of the way with the hair dryer.
I'm not sure about there, but here, you can get the spray disinfectants in several different scents and pick the one you like most. Just check the label to make sure it says that it kills mold.
You probably DON'T have Damp-rid brand there, but you probably have something similar that will do the job. Take a look around the cleaning supplies at the store. They're these crystals that absorb humidity. They go in a container that collects the water - hopefully you can find something at the local shops that does this.
White vinegar works great for removing bad odors, especially urine, but pretty much everything else, too. If you use a nice-smelling fabric softener in the final rinse, you definitely won't smell the vinegar on your clothes.
And yeah - some plastic garment bags might do the trick and keep the smell out if you can't get the mould out of the wood. You can dampen a hankie or tissue with your perfume or cologne and put it in with the jumpers and they'll smell wonderful when you take them out to wear them.
I live in Florida, so I know all about mold and mildew. *sigh* I've had whites that turned BLACK from it from leaving them sit damp a couple of days.
If you're flat is really damp, you might want to pick up some extra of your local equivalent of Damp-Rid and put it around the place to bring down the humidity.
You could also buy a de-humidifier for your room, but I'm not sure how expensive they are there.
Sorry you're not feeling well. Big household projects are a bitch when you're not well, aren't they?

My housemates mum has a dehumidifier, so hopefully she can bring that down at the end of the month and we can get dehumidifying.
Thank you for all your help and advice, hopefully can get it all sorted at the weekend. Or at least a bit less damp :)
