I think "tight jeans" is a phenomenon for all girls who have worn jeans. Tight jeans are the jeans girls have that used to fit nice, and they're a kickin pair of jeans, but due to added pounds they either 1) completely muffin top or fit way too tight or 2) don't fit at all. Girls hold on to these pairs of jeans because there's an attachment to the jeans or because they were just really stylin. These are not to be confused with "my skinny jeans" because skinny jeans are in a different realm, a few sizes below where you are right now. Tight jeans are in a range closer to your current figure.
This past week I threw away a $95 dollar pair of Silver brand jeans. I love Silver, they make amazing jeans which are priced between $65 - $120 dollars (The highest I bought was $110 and they are AWESOME). The Silver jeans had the fashionable holes in them, worn coloring, I've had them for not even a year yet. Thing is, they were legitimately falling off of me. While wearing them I was able to roll over the top of them in order to make them fit tighter. I put on a stretchier pair of jeans that fit "just right" and those too were falling to indecent levels. The Silver Jeans are in a trashcan somewhere, but my stretchier pair survived...for now.
Today I woke up, went to the gym for the first time since I moved last week; hell, I only just found my gym clothes! I did 20 on elliptical and 20 on thread mill, then lifted weights for a bit. Afterwards we went to the dog park and I ran around with my dog, Bandit - still in my gym clothes. I realized when I was running with my dog my pants started falling....damn it! Came home, showered, and decided to grab my "tight jeans" so I wont have to worry about my pants falling. Walked around for about 10 mins and noticed that my pants were falling.
I refuse to buy pants this soon. I straight refuse. I miss my Silver jeans, and my tight jeans will soon have to go. Then what? I'll be stuck in skirts? Blah! This coming on the back that my weight loss has been stalled. Double meh!
