I got punched in the face, so I kick your face!!!

So tonight was the gym and I got to drag Cody with me. I say drag because he didn't want to go but knew he needed to go. So there he went! We arrived at a bad time, too many people there. We tried hitting the mirrored room but that was bad, too. Most cardio machines were taken so we headed to the bikes and did half an hour of cardio. It was ok but bikes don't work you out nearly as much as thread mills walking or jogging. Like, my legs got tired because I cranked it up but my breathing stayed fine for the most part. On the thread mill I can get  my HR to about 170-175 but not on bike it seems.

After bikes we went back to the room and practiced kicks with our mitts. I can kick cody in the face, I can kick myself in the face, but with a few kicks I need to lighten up, I think, while still making it look hard. This is kinda difficult but towards the end I was getting it. Then we worked on the different kinds of hits, etc. I got punched about 30 or so times, then got hit a lot more times otherwise. It felt good. One rattled my jaw bad, and about 3 got my throat, but like I said - it's part of what happens. If you can't take a punch to the face and keep smiling then get the fuck out. Ever been punched in the throat? Suck

Woke up this morning and I'm down almost 5 pounds. I'm gonna rack that up to water weight...or something. So effing hungry right now, my head is killin me. Toxins are leaving my body, I know. I know that's why I feel so tired as well. I hope all this works out in the end. I'll see how things are tomorrow morning as well....

Come to find out, though, that coffee helps my head aches right now, too. that's good to know.
