I'm pathetic.
I started crying today.
Why? Because I ended up at urgent care.
Why? Because there's a sharp stabbing/burning pain in my ear when I bite down/chew/move my jaw a certain way. Otherwise there's a dull pain there.
Why? Today the doctor said my infection is so bad it's down to the bone.
Well? He's sticking me on another antibiotic ON TOP of the z-pack.
Why? He doesn't think the z-pack is doing its job and my infection is just *that* bad.
so in addition to azithromycin I'm also on Sulfameth.
and the doctor was being a dick.
and short with me.
So I asked, "is that gonna help with the ear/jaw pain? that's the main reason I came today." and he cut me off and said "what do you want me to do about your ear?" I said, "I don't know, I just want to know what's wrong why I can't chew..." and he cut me off and said, "Do you want pain meds for the ear?" me: "No, I just wanted to make sure.." DR: "I can give you pain meds"... me: No i just wanted to makesure it's not an abscess or anything like that.." DR: "No, its not. I just think your infection is so bad it's back up in the bone" Me: "Oh...ok"
then I left with a prescription in hand and when I got to the car I started crying between the doctor being a dick and me feeling horrible and being sick for so long. I'm so frustrated, I just need to get better. Please? :(
