Ok, I'll be the first to admit it.

I have bad taste in music.

And you know what? I'm not especially ashamed of this. Why is it that for every other genre of entertainment it's perfectly acceptable to have bad taste (action flicks, Da Vinci Code books, Comso magazines for the ladies, Laguna Beach), yet everyone gives me such crap for my musical collection? I decided I'm not having it anymore.

And to me? No one type of music is really considered "good". I find myself repulsed by and interested in different songs in each genre out there probably. Let's face it, there's crappy music in every genre, so don't play it off that you're better than me because you hate country music. It angers me when people try and pawn off a new artist or cd on me to try and "educate" me. Just forget it!

Besides, EVERYONE in the world has a guilty pleasure cd. You KNOW what I'm talking about. Let's just admit it right now and get it over with.

I'll go first.

My Bad Music Tastes:
I love Hootie and the Blowfish. And Huey Lewis and the News. And Eddie Money. And Neil Diamond rocks frankly. And I know all the words to "Tearin' Up My Heart" and even get down on my knees like the song says at the certain point.

Ok, now please tell me your guilty pleasure in music so that we can all make fun of each other and be complacent with each others musical selections.
