Soooooo, what can I update about??
Well, NRAP was yesterday! Yes, NRAP, the Northern California Resident Advisor Program, a day conference for NorCal RAs. This year it was at Chico State which was pretty cool. And let me tell you, it is a geeky and wonderful as it sounds. During the day you go to different programs and you also compete for your school to win the NRAP Spirit Stick. It is CRAZY fun. Thanks to our Spirit Leaders Genie and Kelli, we did an awesome job at being spirited and crazy. The word "chaos" definitely rang through my head as 500 RAs from different schools ran around and screamed and threw stuff and played games and in general acted like RAs do. You definitely realized what being an RA means and how cool it is to be one. And RAs are basically the coolest people ever.
Anyways, I had to come back right NRAP because I'm oncall. Basically, being an oncall SRA is different, and I don't know if it's better or worse. I do get to wear around a classy knapsack (so I feel like a real college student with it) and the new oncall phone is pretty nice, even though it doesn't get any reception in my apt so that's not fun.
And now I was going to write a non-RA story to appease those who aren't an RA (sort of like Sheakspeare appealing to different class systems...like that English majors?? HUH?), but then i remembered that my life consists of nothing but Student Housing. And I am ok with that. What fun! Bye!
