(no subject)
So for about 21 years now I've never been able to find a pair of sunglasses that looks halfway decent on me. It's because I have a really large head and face, so all glasses basically look small and weird. I've always just resorted to wearing highway patrollmen glasses but even those look normal when they should look oversized.
So last week at Rite I THOUGHT I had found a good pair. Michelle and Diana Bowen were there and they agreed, so I bought them. (It also helped that they were like 10 bucks and buy one get one free so that Michelle could get a pair of robot sunglasses). Anyways, now both Spoon and Amanda have seen me in them and both think they look terrible. Spoon said they made my face look like a bug, and Amanda and I just had this conversation walking to our Spanish final:
Amanda: What are those?
Joey: They're my new sunglasses...what do you think?
Amanda: Um...
Joey: You dont like them?
Amanda: No, it's just that next time maybe you should have a girl go with you and help you pick a nice pair out.
Joey: I DID, MICHELLE AND DIANA BOWEN BOTH LIKED THEM.
Amanda: Oh.
So basically I've decided that women are dumb when it comes to fashion and are very flip-floppy, and I shouldn't listen to them. I will now follow whatever any guy tells me. Hey, guys have never told me I look trashy in tshirts and shorts and sandals all the time. And no guy ever complained about my large face and unwearable bug sunglasses. Keep the fashion advice to yourselves ladies, I'm a free man!
