I just got an email that my copy has been shipped, so I checked the release date again, and yup ♥ the order form already says it's in stock

Those who ordered it should be receiving it in the mail soon too. The official release date stated is Oct 9, 2012.
So sad this is the end. Here's hoping the drama CDs will at least be continued. Or better yet, they make an anime for it. There should be a big enough market, which they will only see if the sales are high ^_~
