The Assimilation of Seuss
Tonight during GOHOW (Games Often Happen On Wednesdays) it came up that the plural of Borg (the cybernetic zombie race from Star Trek) is Borg, not Borgs. To demonstrate this, astridsdream gave this Seussian rhyme:
One Borg, two Borg,
Red Borg, Blue Borg.
Cute, huh? Well, being gamers and prone to exploring the depths of things that should not be explored, we eventually came to this:
"Some Sneetches have stars on their bellies. Others do not. It is irrelevant. All will be assimilated. Their biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile."
This broke the GM. I smiled. A lot.
