there's life underground
it snowed! again! i wanted to fling myself off of my balcony into a giant snow drift. ahhhhh. i kinda wish we didn't have school tomorrow.
mmm, i've decided that i love philip glass and e e cummings. not only because they will be my focus for the next couple months (research paper), but because... well, they're just amazing. plain and simple. for those of you who don't know (and you should be ASHAMED!), glass is a "minimalist" composer, though he hates that term. he's from baltimore, which is where i was born -yippie- and he's composed symphonies, operas, and scores to many films (such as the hours and secret window). e e cummings was a brilliant, visionary poet. if you've never heard of him, you should go curl up in a corner and cry like a little girl.
