Question. Do you remember when LJ changed, and then the subject lines disappeared? And then you guys found a way to change settings so that they could come back? ...Do you remember how that worked?

Thank you!!

I think I found a way to do that but that it didn't work. Maybe my journal style doesn't have subject lines for comments... even though it used to... *shifty eyes*

It's only certain styles that allow for it as an option in the setting for the default custom page. Minimalism, if I remember correctly? Hang on, I'll have to look into that again.

ETA: Yep, Minimalism. Please to be reading more about that here: http://lj-releases.livejournal.com/72553.html If you need further info, feel free to shoot me a pm. :)

I followed the first half of the instructions you sent, but it wouldn't let me do the second half (I couldn't find the option). Apparently it wasn't necessary! Or something somehow intervened. IDEK.

Thank you!!!

Heh, you're welcome. There'd also be ways to make it so that there'll be subject lines on the default page, but for that you'd have to change your layout.

On a custom page, yeah. To have them with the default pages, you need Minimalism. ;)
