SPOILERS: Dark Angel up through 2.08, Smallville up through 4.14
I'm working on a Supernatural fan vid and it's really, really fun, but I'm at a point where I need to free up disk space in order to keep running the vid program. What's eating up my disk space? Scads and scads of TV with Jensen Ackles in it. I'm halfway through his seasons of Dark Angel, Smallville and Dawson's Creek.
I took the plunge and deleted everything I've watched already, including (farewell!) the Dark Angel where he says something funny before killing that cat lady and the Spanish version of the Smallville episode where he leaves Lana and does that super-vulnerable bugged thing with his neck, which I couldn't find to download in English and eventually had to rent. Also all the kissing-Lana scenes, especially in the church when he pushes her up against the wall beside the candles. Farewell to you. And the one where Lex says 'Come work for me' and they have so much chemistry and is there a lot of slash out there of them I wonder, because there should be. And the one where he gets strangled by his scarf. And the Dark Angel where he gets strangled and then says 'I'm fine!' in an excellently pathetic voice. I couldn't part with the "Gill Girl" episode of Dark Angel, not yet. That scene where Max pretends to be a stripper showing him a good time is just too good.
Anyway, these sacrificed episodes freed up space, but then I imported another Supernatural ep into the vid program and that ate up all of it, and now the program won't run again. So tonight I'm sifting through Dawson's Creek watching only Jensen's scenes and then deleting each episode as soon as it's done, in the name of art and a funner night tomorrow.
