His skin's dry, and so hot.
"This isn't OK with me, Dean."
Sam wrings out the thick white towel, settles it on Dean's forehead. It makes his face look even redder.
"Time to drop a couple degrees."
Dean mumbles something, then flinches. Sam puts gentle pressure on the cloth.
"Shhh. Get some rest."
Shiny eyes slit open, squint up in sore befuddlement. "Watermelon Mormon?"
Sam blinks, then soothes a thumb back and forth across Dean's triceps. "Yeah."
"Glass hammer dissolve."
"OK. You're OK. Everything's OK."
Dean frowns, and starts coughing, and doesn't stop until they're pulling up outside the hospital.
