Alex and Adam were racing to see how many plastic palm trees and barstools they could knock over. However Rodin being rather long limbed had long strides, and it only took a few moments for him to pounce upon both of the boys, snatching them up by their ruffled collars.

It was all the distraction Queen Bea needed. Though Rodin had yelled for someone to keep her at the door, his voice, raspy from thirst, was barley audible over the pounding club music. In those few moments, she had darted back behind the bar, which hadn't been noticed, even by the bartender. The bartender was distracted by watching the strip show going on up on the third stage.

Rodin bashed the twin's heads together with enough force to daze both of them then grabbed a long cord from one of the fallen displays and used it to tie up the two would-be vandals. He then looked back to the door. Bea was gone, and no one was guarding the door.

Rodin hated situations which required him to think. He really preferred to have crystal clear directions. Watch the door. Stay at the door. He could handle that, even if it was annoying to have to stay there for such a long time. But now he couldn't stay at the door, he had to go after Queen Bea. If she made it to Morukai before he did he had failed at his given task and would certainly be punished accordingly.

But someone had to watch the door. Rodin looked at the bartender who was busy watching the act on stage 3. He looked at the stripper, who was busy performing. He thought about yelling at the bartender, who could have helped but didn't. Rodin imagined that the stripper hated the bartender and that perhaps if Rodin just went over and strangled him it would do her a huge favor. He started to dream up the various ways he wished she would repay him for his heroism. Perhaps she would throw herself down off the stage into his outstretched arms and cover him with kisses...

Rodin was rapidly realizing this was not only a bad plan, but an unrealistic one. He hurried back to the door and slammed it shut, triple locked it and placed a palm tree in the way of the entry. Then with a bit more grace, he flicked the light switch for the neon lights outside, so the sign which read "GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS" was off and the "Open" sign now read "Closed".

Now all he had to do was find Queen Bea before Queen Bea found his master, or there would be hell to pay.
