I was staring at the form again. All it would take to make it final was sending it in. So why did I still hesitate? Truth to tell, I didn't know. Whyever was I even thinking about swapping my easy life of living off of my heritage, studying whatever struck my fancy and doing what I pleased without a care in the world for what was likely going to be a nightmare of semi-military discipline, lots of studying and boredom while I was at the academy?

He had stopped to watch our exchange instead of collecting some. With the party just starting, it was no mean feat to find a bottle that was already empty.
