That was so good. I think I have forgotten what it's like when finales are actually good. Will have to rewatch sometime free of the fear that they're going to fuck it up any minute now so I can enjoy the ride even more than I already did.

I love all the time stuff, I love the museum and the incredible creepiness of the stars and history disappearing, I love the time stuff - no, really, it bears repeating, I love that this series has seriously owned the whole time travel concept.

And Mr. Pond! I am so incredibly delighted that instead of Amy settling down to be Mrs. Williams, we got Rory breaking out to be Mr. Pond, and not just coming along but fully embracing the idea. I love that Amy is still talking about snogging in the shrubbery. I love that the Doctor set it up but they all had real, important parts to play in making the happy ending happen, especially Amy. I love that the little hints and pieces all along really added up to something, and that there's still a bit of mystery left to tide us over into next year.

...I guess I have less to say when my shows make me happy? But seriously, well done Moffat, you have more than exceeded my expectations. I really, thoroughly enjoyed this series, and the conclusion was absolutely fantastic. So excited for Christmas and series 6. &hearts &hearts &hearts
