Oh man, ever hear a song you really, really like on the radio, look up who wrote it, and discover you absolutely hate the rest of the music that singer/band has done? I'm feeling that way about OneRepublic. Their song "All the Right Moves" caught my ear in a Walgreens of all places and I heard it later on an XM station where I could catch the band's name. The vocals are really unique and the melody is pretty. And... they never do those kind of vocals again (at least, not in the samplings available on their MySpace) and I don't care for the music of their other songs. In fact, I've heard "Apologize" in the past without realizing and hated it.
Then I look up HY because of the song "11:00 AM" and discover that I love their music... and also discover that independent artists from Japan don't get great distribution in the US. D'ohhh.
