I guess this is the point where I acknowledge Script Frenzy is a no-go this year. I've been exhausted even with full nights of sleep and my homework is difficult in a different way than usual. Usually it's just hard to get the work done. Now I have to go to campus to borrow PhotoShop in the computer labs, or try to figure out what a disorganized teacher wants from me, or sit through Faulkner without throwing it out a window.

And now it's getting close to eighty degrees after a week of thirties and forties. It's warm enough I'm tempted to shove my cat off my lap. I do not need a warm fuzzy when I'm already getting lazy from heat, but she purrs. How can I push her away while she's purring?

I'm worried about my laptop. It's losing power and not recharging like it should. Like, it gets stuck at 97% power and the charge light won't turn off, nor will the percentage raise. I fixed it twice before by unplugging it and plugging it back in, but this time all that did was lower it to a fixed 96%. The worst thing is, I don't know how serious it is, or what's causing it. Is this a minor glitch, or a sign to prepare the funeral? Is something wrong with my battery, or the outlet cable, or the laptop itself?

Sometimes I want to drop out of college and find some computer school instead. If nothing else, I'll know when to take advantage of the extended warranty on these things -- better yet, fix them myself. Or put one together myself. Oooh.
