Issue:

My flash drive (PNY 256, <6 mos old) is broken. The actual memory crad and the attached USB plug are intact and functioning fine, but they have somehow become detached from the plastic casing. This is bad, because they keep retracting into said casing like a goddamn turtle, making it difficult for me to get enough of the plug into a USB port for the computer to read anything over the drive. I can pull the plug out, or put it in and wiggle it around; whatever used to be holding it in place, well, isn't anymore.

Suggestions? My first thought was a small amount of superglue around where the plug contacts the case, since I would be bonding metal to plastic and not actually touching the sensitive bits of the drive. Is that safe? Or am I just going to have to replace it? :-(
