So I went to see Narnia with Katie tonight (not having anything better to do) and I figure pretty much everything's been said already except for this:
Tumnus/Lucy. OH YES.
Not, like, right away. That's icky. But...they live a long, long time in Narnia...

So to take home I have Mabel, one suitcase, bookbag, shoulderbag, a bag of yarn and a Ziploc back of Cockroach Clusters. That's not too bad at all. I think I may need a new mix CD for the drive home--anyone have any rock/punk/alternative covers of old (meaning 1960s-1980s) songs they care to share? Or like seriously old songs; I've got the Dropkick Murphys' cover of "Finnegan's Wake" to use...
ETA: OMG I forgot to add: the movie had a trailer for PotC: Dead Man's Chest before it. Now, I'd watched this online before, and I'd seen the scary bearded guy talking about Davey Jones' Locker. But I didn't realize before that his beard is made of tentacles.

This movie is clearly going to be Jack Sparrow vs. the Elder Gods. At the first sign of a mad fishlike New Englander I am fleeing the theater.
