(no subject)
Hark! A random update when I really ought to be doing research for a class!
I'd like to issue a big warm fuzzy welcome to all the people who friended me during the Friending Frezy yesterday. Please be warned that I occasionally have very public mental breakdowns and talk a lot about boring-ass crap, like NaNoWriMo, for which I'm still short a character name, and my mom's dog, who apparently is still eating the furniture.
I forgot all my materials for psychology today, so instead I played syntax with my baby conlang. It's going to be very head-final (yeah, boring old SVO) except it has prepositions, because I really really hate postpositions, but that's okay, right? It doesn't have to be perfectly left-branching. Nobody's going to eat me. Lexicon structure still sucks, however, and I still don't know what the semivowel equivalent of /y/ is. I lose at linguistics. ::cries::
I have to do mindmaps for psychology this week because the Violette lab is closed on weekends. I have to read another chapter of the psych textbook so I know what the hell is going on. I have to do a hell of a lot more work on my Swahili lexicon, according to the template Dr. R sent out today. I have to come up with something for my Alice project and actually start organizing my Lang and Learning paper. And, oh yeah, Chinese. ::heddesk::
And I'm going to try to overload next semester?
ETA: Dr. Davis has sent us all an mp3 of "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. He wants us to listen to it REAL GOOD before class tomorrow. Ahahaha.
