Things I have found while cleaning my room recently:
*Two Cardinals pennants, from 1992 and 1994
*Two large buttons with pictures of Tony Pena and Terry Pendleton from circa 1988
*A fright wig
*A bag of plastic skulls
*An unopened Halloween costume (generic scary faceless thing)
*A sombrero
*About ten pairs of shoes in wearable condition, just not by me
*A Harry Potter locker mirror, minus the actual mirror
*A sand dollar, a starfish and a pretty shell
*The bell bottoms my mom made me for the Galactic musical ten years ago
*A Scholastic bookorder box (ah, those were the days) full of strange powders meant for crystal-growing experiments
*Four AA batteries marked "Use By Jan 2002"
*Hootie and the Blowfish on cassette
I also have 4-5 boxes of books I want to unload, mostly stuff from this list or this one. I've also got about ten Discworld titles in paperback, and the entire His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman: The Golden Compass is in paperback, but the other two are hardcover. Just, y'know, if anybody wants them...
Also, we got our dishwasher fixed today. Madison was very perturbed by the strange man in our house; I took her outside and she cried and tried to look in the windows. I'm going to miss that puppy when I leave, fangs and all. Which, incidentally, will be Saturday. (Hint, hint.)
