Tribute to Dimebag Darrel
For those of you who have not heard, Dimebag Darrel was killed on the night of the eighth during one of his sets. No. Killed is the wrong word. He was murdered. But that's besides the point.
Metal has lost a great hero. And I for one want to make a proper tribute to the man himself.
My band and I are making plans in the near future to make a Memorial Tribute Gig for Dimebag. I'm yet to decide where the profits go, becasue i'm determined not to profit from this guy's death. All i wanna do is play music in memory of the man.
But i don't think one gig's going to do the job. What i want is for other musicians like myself to do their own Memorial Gig in honour of Dimebag. I don't care where you're from, who you are. Just get your band together and get a show going. what i'm hoping on having is having bands play across the US, UK, Canada, the EU, Asia, Australasia, Africa... musicians all over the planet to just gig on the same night where they are in honour of the man himself.
